TV on the Radio - New Cannonball Run
Had this album on repeat all week, it’s my favorite of theirs as a whole, front to back. Yes, Return to Cookie Mountain (which sounds like something my dad would say describing something he had to do at the end of a drug binge) has my favorite song of theirs, Dear Science has a virile first half, but this one, Nine Types of Light, it’s funky, man. It rocks, it’s consistent, it’s what they do best for 43 minutes straight.
And this song…I fucking dig it. Makes me wanna shake my ass. Models who’ve come over this week? I played them this, and they shook their asses.
Ass shaking = A+ music.
